Carol Williams has concentrated her legal practice exclusively on immigration and nationality matters for over 15 years.  She has worked extensively with companies of all sizes (start-ups to multinational) and individuals seeking to live and work in the USA.

Attorney Williams helps companies with hiring and retention of non-US citizen employees. In addition, Carol counsels companies with I-9 compliance, H-1B audits, E-Verify requirements and defense of Office of Special Counsel investigations relating to employment discrimination. In addition, Attorney Williams helps individuals reunite with family members in the USA, obtain green cards and US citizenship as well as apply for passports.

As a former employee with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) at Headquarters in Washington, DC working on policy, drafting regulations and monitoring pending legislation, Carol brings a unique perspective when counseling clients on their immigration matters.

Prior to starting her own firm she worked with several large immigration practices representing a variety of industries including: IT, automotive, manufacturing, hospitality, education, healthcare, automotive, construction, technology, retail, telecommunications, entertainment and manufacturing.

Carol received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School. She is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar. Carol is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
